this is some AWESOME news! itll be perfect to get in the mood for GOW 3!!!

ive been missing playing these games ever since my BC ps3 got the ylod

The collection comes just months before God of War III is scheduled to hit stores on March 2010 for the Playstation 3.

Never played GoW 1 or 2, so it's a definite buy from me, and a nice prelude to GoW 3

pretty excited to see what the trophy lists look like too, i would have played these again with or without them, but adding trophies makes it that much better!

Since we're talking Blu-ray, why not have a Team Ico (Ico/SotC) bundle, a Kojima (MGS2/MGS3/ZoE) bundle, and a Clover (Viewtiful Joe/Okami/God Hand) bundle?

It would be funny if they did a MGS1+2+3 remix in HD and with trophies before MGS4 got a trophy support patch.

never played them so looking forward to this. hopefully SCEE will announce something soon (public holiday here today).

Do we think they just nailed the original assets into the GOW3 engine?

It'll be interesting to see the sales, i'm sure it'll do well but will it give the likes of squenixidos the incentive to do the same. With the White Engine im sure it would be possible. and after this comment attributed to Yoshinori Kitase, maybe they have already thought about it.

I think a lot of people do. But, it might be kinda pointless to upscale that game to HD--it would still probably be rather fugly on a big screen. Also, Sony is pretty vested in driving PSP sales with that title, I'd imagine.
