That scene is NOT on the US BD (I watched it twice recently. I also have the original US DVD and it's not on there either.) The scene where Loyd shouts "I've been robbed by a little old lady on a motorized bike!" to Harry IS in the movie but not the scene before where he is looking for her on the street shouting "Little old lady??!"

However, I may be confused myself.

I think the confusion is that some people are misinterpreting this as other stating that the entire "little old lady" scene is missing from the movie, which isn't the case.

On most existing versions (definately the VHS and DVD release of the regular version, and possibly even the unrated version, though it's been a while since I've seen it), the scene goes as follows:

*Lloyd asks the little old lady to watch his stuff while he gets change, she agrees, and then he make the comment about how the elderly, while slow and dangerous behind the wheel, can still serve a purpose. And as he's walking away from her to get the change, he says "don't you go dying on me!"

***The next thing we see right after that, in the versions that I am mentioning, is him entering the apartment and telling Harry "I got robbed by a sweet little old lady on a motorized cart... and I didn't even see it coming!"

**What people are talking about here is another part, that comes inbetween those two segments, where Lloyd comes back to where he met the little old lady to discover that she had taken all of his stuff. This is after he leaves to get change, but before he returns to the apartment.

I have no recollection of that extra scene, I don't think that I've ever seen it. I don't think it was on the unrated version, but to be honest I got that on DVD a while back, watched it once, and haven't watched it since, as I really didn't care for the stuff that they added back into it.

Does the unrated release on Blu-Ray have the option to watch the original theatrical edition? I have avoided getting this on Blu thinking it's only the unrated edition, which I don't care for.

I also hope that when/if Kingpin is ever released on Blu-Ray (another Farley Brothers movie), it's either the original PG-13 theatrical version or at least has the option for it. I only have that version on VHS. The version released on DVD is an extended R rated version with extra footage added to it, and IMO all it did was drag the movie out and ruin the pacing. I didn't care much for the things that they added.

When Lyod gets back and says "I got robbed by a sweet little old lady",
I remember thinking that she didn't rob him but probably just took off after being insulted (and so someone else passing by on the street probably took his stuff). This makes much more sense. Now I really want to get the BD version!

No exageration, but I've probably seen this movie 50 times (although not recently). One of those movies that seem to get funnier the more you watch them.

This is right on! Everyone please read what Dynamo's saying.

And as I have mentioned now a couple of times; the missing scene is found ONLY on old VHS and laserdisc versions... and is probably a shot for TV scene.

Its easier to just start a new thread and let the mods decide wether to delete it or not.

Yeah, it's no bother for me. As long as a thread is started for a movie I like I'm gonna enjoy it either way.
