I thought it was hilarious. Just thinking about that Dane Cook line makes me laugh.

How could you not like this movie?
Also funny when the wife kept having sex with the brother. I saw it on Starz too but i wish it had been the unrated version.

Mine is Bad Santa, I now pronounce you Chuck and Larry, and Zack and Miri Make a Porno.
I have to agree with the OP, Step Brothers was Aweful. and the comedies you listed are on my worst of all time list.

My fav type comedies

Forgetting Sarah Marshall
Pink Panther (original 1963)
Super Troopers
Dodgeball
Blazing Saddles

Because it was so stupid that even with the brain off; it didn't make sense. It was like they were trying to hard for the movie to be funny; which is typical Will Farrell. He wasn't even funny on SNL.

Step Brothers is better every time I watch it(last night on starz for the 4th time). The OP is a sad and joyless tool.

I agree it does get better with every watch. I'm not sure if I have the unrated version...I might have to look into that. Everytime I think of funny comedies lately, the first movie that pops in my head is Step Brother.

On another note, for the OP to call anyone "ultra idiots" for enjoying a movie, he must have some issues of his own to deal with. Everyone has their own favorite movies and who am I to judge if someone likes something that I don't. Just sayin'...

Comedies are so relative it's just ridiculous to bash someone for liking something they don't.

I feel like one of the best scenes was left on the cutting room floor but it's on the deleted/extended scenes. It's the extended scene of them opening Christmas presents early and one gets hulk hands and the other a wallet.

Stranger Than Fiction is the only Will Ferrell movie I'd ever buy.

Stranger Than Fiction was a smart comedy starring Will Ferrell.

Although I share the OP's dislike of Step Brothers (there are a few choice scenes but it was mostly a steaming pile of crap), I don't share his sentiments regarding those who enjoyed that movie.

Fixed the list for you

As for Step Brothers I prefer that over Blades of Glory anyday and also reason why Step Brothers is stupid is because it wasn't trying to be smart.

Nice. So people with a different opinion of comedy from you are "the most ultra-idiots on the planet". Do you have any idea how much of a schmuck that kind of comment makes you look like?

Good lord, man! That's not exactly "thinking-man's" comedy on this list (other than 'Trading Places'). Jim Carrey? Adam Sandler? That's a lot of audacity to trash Will Ferrel fans like that, then have the nerve to out yourself as a fan of some of the stupidest comedy ever made (not that there's anything wrong with stupid comedy at all). Lighten up. There's no accounting for taste, but your posts are really incongruous.
