I'd be more interested in a release of Gremlins 2. That's still a lousy snapcase DVD.

Saw it today in Futureshop, was grabbing way too many things today to grab it. Sadly, they only had one copy. I'll pick it up after Christmas. I believe it was 21.99 too, not too bad.

Received mine in the mail today !!! It only took 3 days to get from Canada to Greece , that is what I call fast !!!I tested it out to see if it works, its fine.Anyway, I only watched just a couple minutes, cause I dont have time till later tonight. From what I watched, up till where the father enters the store, you can tell its better than the upscaled dvd , but not by too much.Im assuming the daytime scenes will look even better.

Now that ive watched the entire movie on blu ray,I just cant understand why people are complaining about the picture quality.First , it was said that the blu ray has lots of grain, there really isnt that much.Anyone who thinks it does , go watch ghostbusters!!! Now that blu ray had lots of grain, not gremlins.Im watching this on a 22 inch HD LCD samsung,im pretty satified with the picture .Sure, its not going to look like the new blu ray movies, but the picture quality is anywhere from a 10 to 30 percent improvement in my opinion , than watching the old dvd special edition upscaled.I actually like the gremlins blu ray picture quality, better than ghostbusters.I found ghostbusters too be way too bright, grainy.

I dont wanna get into a big grain argument, but your 'reviews' will be much better if you dont treat grain as a negative thing... The grain is supposed to be their and usually means that unnecessary post processing measures were not used (ie DNR)

There was one left at my local FS yesterday, and I didn't pick it up. I am thinking about going back today to see if it is still there. Gotta get my Gizmo fix

Blucanadian, im sorry if my review came off as being negative towards grain. I just wanted to point out that 1 film, had more than the other.I actually like film grain when used right, but ghostbusters had way too much.
