I have the OS season 1 and season 2, and they both stop randomly on playback. I returned the OS season 1, 3 times with the same result, random stopping could happen on any disc, but not every time. My player is a Samsung BD P1500. I believe this problem is unique to Samsung in that it does not happen on a Sony which I tried.

try moving to a ps3 with wireless internet--it will update your "firmware" automatically and you probably won't have these kinds of problems...

I have a BDP1500 and a Sony S550. The Samsung plays season two without any issues, but the Sony pauses randomly while playing. I don't recall this happening on the season one set. I have not updated firmware on the samsung because it plays without issues, but the sony has the most current firmware.
