Nothing is concrete since the announcement won't be until just before CEDIA. But I assure you it is BR 100%.

Denon will most likely use the SO Realta chip in it. The same one in the present high end players. I would guess 1500.00, as they will keep it in line with the 3930 price. - jnelson2000

It seems an insider on AVS has confirmed that the player won't be Universal, but Blu-ray only.

Realta chip sounds great. Finally a TRUE high end player.
