Well if he was going to upgrade the entire front sound stage then I would agree fronts first, and then center and sub. If it were that he wanted to upgrade the front sound stage and stay with Def Tech, then the Bi-pole towers would be the way to go and then add the CLR 2002. IMO. If he really wanted to venture outside of Def Tech, wow, he would need to est. a budget and then really get some serious auditioning done. I say Monitor Audios or Dali's depending on Movies to Music listening %'age..... ie. 50% mo-mu, Dali's, 70-30 mo-mu, Monitors.

However, if he was just trying to improve on what he has, Center then sub. IMO.

The center channel he needs is this one.

It would be like you using the RM6750 center channel with your T90s. I could work, but how well?

After that I agree that a new sub would be appropriate.
That's what i suggested!!!

Your setup is quite nice, I think the suggestion on the center is good. I would also consider room treatment if you do not already have. Upgrades do not always have to focus on the electronics...

My setup is as this:

7.1 setup

L and R speakers- Mythos One
All the other speakers are part of the definitive pro 600 class, including the sub/amp
Pioneer elite vsx-03 and my oppo blu-ray player don't need any upgrade.

In my opinion I was thinking it was either going to be the center speaker, the amp/sub, or upgrading the rear speakers to match the quality produced from the Mythos One speakers. Thanks again
Id keep the MYTHOS one's and get a MYTHOS three. I dont think the problem is with your fronts...I have the same towers and they kick @zz ...just have to get all the other speakers up to par. My Mythos three works great with my setup

What do you mean by room treatment?

And thanks for all the suggestions everybody. I've been extremely busy with work and college so that's the reason I haven't responded for a while.

Maybe look through this thread:

https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=93826

The room acoustics play a large part over the sound of the system and usually is overlooked when people are investing in a HT or music system. This includes me as i have done very little so far to improve the acoustics in my room, it will probably be where I invest next year as i should be done for electronics.

I agree a sub would be a nice upgrade. Yet both the center and sub can be the most important
