Black Friday sales are sometimes limited to the Friday after Thanksgiving, but sometimes they aren't. It just depends on the retailer. However, in this current economy, I expect we'll see some substantial sales running through Christmas.

I bought mine brand new from eBay for CAD$24.36 this past April.
Hunt around eBay you will most likely find one.

Why the heck is Iron Man still so EXPENSIVE!??

I want to buy it but I have three copies of it on DVD and don't want to waste money on the BD when I certainly don't *need* it.

Picked up Iron Man on Amazon's BF 2008 sale at $14.99. My second BD after TDK.

It is a must-own disc, and I'd pay $20 for it, given the prices of BDs today.

Just ordered Troy on Bestbuy online for only $9.99. Although I already have it I read the video was a perfect 5 out of 5. The movie was pretty good IMO. Apologies if this has already been posted.

I bought my Iron Man used for $12 a few months ago. The only problem with mine though is that it's missing the slipcover.

I had a wal-mart giftcard so I took the plunge and bought Iron Man for $30. All I heard was that this was an absolute must-have BD title, and while PQ and AQ are excellent, I found the movie t be ultimately disappointing.

Extremely cliche and linear. certainly not a movie you have to think about or are surprised by what happens next. Keeping it for sure, and Robert Downey Jr. is amazing (as usual) but I think TDK ruined me for all other superhero stories. All superhero stories now seem so bland, haha.

My wife got Iron Man for me a few days after release, it was $24,95 at Wal-Mart and my most "expensive" single movie BD to date. I've never spent more than $19,99 on a single movie BD myself. However, that doesn't mean Iron Man isn't worth your dollar - it's a fantastic movie and should have a spot in everyone's BD collection.

Totally agree with you. Great movie and deserves to be on every movie shelf.

I too have been keeping an eye out for this on Sale , hopefully soon .... $25 seems to be the going rate right now , amazon is at $25.99 , Best buy at $29.99 ...
