There will be a new version, studios love making us double dip. The only question is when, will a new version be next year or 5 years from now.

I rented it, and based on PQ, I will not buy it. For me, the PQ was only a slight improvement over the DVD. And from reading the review here it seems they just ported over the HD-DVD transfer and didn't take advantage of Blu-ray.

But on the other hand, it may be worth buying just for improved AQ. When I rented it, I listened to it with my old Marantz (no HD sound) now I have a new AVR and the audio difference may be enough to persuade me to buy. I have to rent it again I guess.

Question: Is it worth it?
Answer: No. Maybe yes.

I would want it just based on the fact i want all of my favorite movies on Blu.
If they come out with another version later...Just buy it too. I mean cmon..its like 11 dollars on amazon...and who says we will be here in 5 years for a different version...Remember what will happen in 2012!!! get your Blu-rays now before its too late hahaha
