Not from the same awards though. VGA 2008 claimed GTA4 as GOTY.

Were any of the world premieres anything good?? I think the first one was another True Crime game right? Other than that I didn't notice anything mind blowing.

Also some of the choices were pretty odd that won...were these fan voted on awards or a combination of both or ???

There were awesome very short trailers for a follow-up to Batman: AA and SW: TFU. There were others, I just can't remember.

They also showed footage/data from Crackdown 2, Halo: Reach, Medal of Honor, and Green Day:Rock Band.

The only one that remotely interested me was Medal of Honor, but the footage they showed was just standard war-game footage.

i watched part of it

i was shocked that Mark Hamil lost out to Jack Black... like wtf? probably because he's the biggest celebrity thats involved with this show

and UFC??? no surprise considering its Spike

the trailer for True Crime (cant remember if thats what its called) the Chinese Triad GTAesque game looks great
