Powerfull!
love that version and the original (well some of Trent's live versions are great as well).. Does kind of seem like it was made for Johnny Cash

The original is great too, but it sounds more cynical and depressing imo, Cash made it sound like it was more profound and emotional, a man with life long experiences looking back at his life.

Cash made it better, but Kermit perfected it.

Keep Me In Your Heart by Warren Zevon was a bit of a downer, although the use of it in Funny People takes away from it now.

It is what I was listening to when I had to put my dog to sleep
That sucks! Sorry about your dog. There isn't really one song that actually makes me cry, but I think two of the saddest songs ever are A Lifetime by Better Than Ezra and Brick by Ben Folds Five.

The score from the movie Up. When they played it at the Oscar's to introduce to the nomination I was already choking up.

i think NIN _ Hurt but also Johnny Cashes Cover is Disturbingly Beautiful and emotionally EPIC..

i think " The Drugs Dont Work " From The Verve is an emotional song.
as well as Creep from Stone Temple Pilots..

theres alot of emotional songs.. almost every band has there "Emotion" Song..

Royksopp's "Dead to the World" had me all teary eyed. An easy song to connect to any emotion.

Clapton's Tears in Heaven. At the very least it gives me a lump in my throat every time I hear it. Partly, I think, because I once saw a documentary about James Bulger, and that song was playing at the very end and it really got to me then.
