Yes, I have a 5.1 setup from my AVR. The speakers all go to the AVR. I have a TW cable DVR box connected to my AVR using HDMI. Now remember, im not streaming through my PS3, im streaming through my TV ( the z series has streaming) Since the streaming is from my TV, I need a way for the TV to sound through the AVR, so its optical.
