i'm thinking at earliest Fall 2010 or Spring 2011. that's if they were working on it before the release of the first one

Haha this is pretty incredible! They must have created the trailer parts while working on the first one. They couldn't have done that much a new one in such a short amount of time could they? Usually game sequels are released every other year.

Definitely Two-Face in the billboard at the site. Beyond sick!

you tend to think that they had this new game already in development. And put out Batman: AA because they weren't quite down with the New one, easy way to make money

And it looks like they have a bit of Escape from New York thrown in there.

HOLY! I never got the first one; i was going to at a price drop since i was more interested in other games, but i don't care about it anymore. I'M GETTING THIS lol! The main reason i never got Arkham Asylum was the lack of my favourite villains, but there are tons of clues in that trailer about who will appear (like Two Face and Penguin). If it's a free roam Gotham City, then i'll get it without a doubt.

I hope they time its release right so that I don't have a time conflict with the other dozen amazing games I'll be busy with over the next 6 months. Because, I'm already setting aside my $70 for this one!!!

Agreed if they wait to launch against like bioshock 2 or something they will lose a ton of money, not from me though since I'll day one it

That trailer last night was amazing, I definitely can't wait for it. I was amazed by how quickly the announce a sequel let alone a teaser trailer. That really tells you the faith they have in their product, which is a great one. There are some hints in the trailer, I think I saw Two Face in the Uncle Sam poster and the building that the Joker is in says Sionis which is the real name of Black Mask. We'll have to wait and see what they have in store for us.

How does that make sense? They weren't ready with Batman: Arkham Asylum 2, so they put out 1 to make some money until they were ready with #2?

Oh man I am super excited! Loved Batman: AA and am real happy they are doing a sequel. I kind of figured or hoped it would be in a larger arena like Gotham. It is going to be so sick

That is the first thing I noticed about him too. He did look old in AA but he looks worse here (in terms of age/health). You probably wouldn't look so good

I loved AA, but it didn't have any replay value after I beat it on Hard, so...I'll definitely rent this sucker first day when it is released if it ends up looking even moderately close to the quality of AA.
