Give me Frantic day 1! Love that movie. Ive had to live with a crappy full frame disc for years. Gladly upgrade!
+1 i dont care about the coverart its the disc quality that matters some people are just very picky with their cases i guess from what i have seen this looks like a normal blu-ray case. It looks like any double feature DVD art that i have seen. No big deal for me hope the transfers are decent.

Yeah, the cover art is bad.

But I can overlook it if these are on BD50s, and the transfers/sound are up to par.

This is Warner Bros. we are talking about. We will be lucky to get lossless sound, much less a BD-50. I have a feeling these discs are targeted at the Walmart crowd.

I know, just trying to be positive.

If these are compressed to fit on a BD25, WB can keep them.

+1. But Honestly, I'd be shocked if we're talkng BD-25s here, they're probably all BD-50s, but only because they have two films on each disc, so we're still looking at less than 25 GB for any one film, except the two Dirty Harry films, which will have the extras and be on separate discs.

Flippers and two-on-one discs would suck. So would crappy transfers. But if this is what it takes to get movies like Frantic released then so be it. We need to face the facts that studios aren't going to dump a bunch of money into marketing old movies. There's too much risk involved for them.
Completely agree.Saw frantic in cinemas in late 80's and I was hooked. My fav of Polanski.Maybe it is a guilty pleasure, but it has spot on pacing and good acting so strike guilty I say

These are BD-50 discs, not "flippers" and you choose the movies at the start:

Presumed Innocent and Frantic both feature DTS-HD MA 2.0 & DD 2.0 English tracks.

Grumpy Old Men looks to have a gotten a new DTS-HD MA 2.0 track and Grumpier Old Men gets the DTS-HD MA 5.1 track.

Miss Congeniality & Miss Congeniailty 2 and Analyze This & Analyze That are DTS-HD MA 5.1 audio.

-

The only two-disc set for this collection is the Dirty Harry and Magnum Force collection and these are Dolby TrueHD 5.1 with extras.

I wouldn't call it a guilty pleasure. (IMO Rosemary's Baby might be called that.) It's second only to Chinatown in my list of Polaski movies.

Preorders are up. Presume Innocent/Frantic is $17.49 right now. I'm assuming the others are as well.
