Agreed! However, The Deer Hunter is a Universal property, and as far as I know they're not doing digibooks yet.

Yeah its not technically a digibook (The Deer Hunter)

Here is the artwork for Goodfellas ...

also, I like my Silverado digibook ... not available on amazon.com (least wasnt a few weeks ago ... ) I have spotted it at both BB and Wal-Mart ... I got mine at wally world for 14.99 regular price.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. I keep thinking that it's a Warner title. Oh well!

The Shawshank Redemption
North by Northwest
The Green Mile
Matrix
300

They get their own plank...22 so far which equates to about 40% of the shelve.

I find it hard to believe nobody has listed A River Runs Through It?

You find it hard to believe that in a thread where people are only supposed to list their 5 favorite titles out of a selection that contains such revered classics as Dr. Strangelove, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, and North by Northwest, as well as fan favorites such as The Matrix, 300, and The Shawshank Redemption, that nobody has listed A River Runs Through It?

Really?

Come on.

Yup, pretty much since it is an excellent transfer, stars one of the most popular Hollywood actors in Brad Pitt, and is directed by film legend Robert Redford. I would have thought that out of as many lists posted thus far, many of which contain 5 selections, it would have appeared at least once.

Your sarcasm is welcome to the site, especially as a new member

So what? One Flew is an excellent transfer, stars one of the most popular Hollywood actors in Jack Nicholson, and is directed by film legend Milos Forman. North by Northwest is an excellent transfer, stars one of the most popular Hollywood actors in Cary Grant, and is directed by film legend Alfred Hitchcock. Shawshank Redemption is ranked the #1 movie of all time on IMDB. One Flew is #7. The Matrix is #25. Dr. Strangelove #31. Amadeus #85. In fact, the only digibook titles with a lower rating than A River Runs Through It are How the West Was Won, Silverado, and Natural Born Killers.

Mine are.

1. Natural Born Killers (Picture Quality was excellent and the book was very informative.)

2. The Green Mile (Picture Quality was amazing and way better than hoped.)

3. The Matrix (Didn't like the movie, but the Picture Quality was good and the book had good stills.)

4. Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (Loved the book and loved the movie and PQ.)

5. Batman (Picture Quality was great, the book was just okay.)

haha easy tiger, I was not debating the merits of the films that have been released on blu digi. I was simply stating my surprise at not seeing it mentioned on any list.

And no, I wasn't insulting you at all, nor was I voicing my own personal taste, which, if you actually read my post, I never mentioned. I enjoy many of the films released thus far on digi, but was surprised that based on the limited number that have been released, nobody had chosen that film as one of their top 5.
