Default Tarantino's Best Character?

I was just watching Inglourious Basterds again. And I got to thinking, Tarantino has written some great characters in his movies, I love all his movies whether he just wrote or wrote and directed. His characters are always very good.

However, I think with Basterds he outdid himself with Hans Landa. Up until Landa I would have to go with Max Cherry from Jackie Brown as my favorite but Landa blows him out of the water.

So who is you favorite Tarantino written Character?

I'll be the judge of that. I am suprised we only got one character from True Romance so far.

The Wolf is also a great character, he would probably be in my top 5. Landa, Cherry, Jules, Wolf, and Jackie Brown.

Mr. White was played by Harvey Keitel. Mr. Blond was played by Michael Madsen.

Speaking of Reservoir Dogs, my choice for my favorite Tarantino character would be Mr. Pink, 'cause he's a professional!

I was always fond of "Bill" in Kill Bill 1&2, but Landa blows him out of the water.

My favorite now is Budd - 'Sidewinder' from Kill Bill 2.

Love his conversation that he has with Bill about The Bride and his hocking of the Hanzo sword also the one with his boss about his tardiness plus all that chit chat he gives to The Bride after they meet up.

Quote:

Budd:
Larry, there ain't nobody out there!
Larry Gomez: [strung-out tone] "There ain't nobody out there... Larry." What's your point? That you're not needed here?
Budd: My point is, I'm the bouncer... and there ain't nobody out there to bounce!
Larry Gomez: You're saying that the reason... that you're not doing the job... that I'm... paying you to do... is, that you don't have a job to do? Is that what you're saying? What are you trying to convince me of, exactly? That you're as useless as an ******* right here? Well guess what, Buddy. I think, you just ****ing convinced me!

Tim Roth as Ted the Bellhop in Four Rooms. Tarantino only wrote and directed one segment of this movie though (out of four) so I don't really know if this character counts as one he's written.

It's been Mr.Blonde for a long, long time. Simply because of how amazingly well Madsen puts that character on the screen. But after watching Inglourious Basterds twice, and watching Landa eat his Strudel again, i can't help but put him at Mr.Blonde's spot.
