yup ever since Turner bought them. They where in financial trouble before that but he bought them, sold off the studio lots piece meal, sold off the name back to the original MGM execs and kept most of the back catalogue which was what he realy wanted in the first place for his broadcasting empire. Then TW bought Turner broadcasting which is why they have the MGM catalogue.
