Nothing great about them? Hmmm one is up for Best Picture and the other should have been.

I do agree however that I would not buy @ over 14.99.....but then again I dont buy any more than that price anymore.

Anyone else who ordered the Steelbook version online at bestbuy.com have it shipped yet? Mine hasn't shipped and it says it is not available for shipping when you look at it on their sight now so wonder if they don't have enough to fill orders?

That's simply too hard to choose.. Get both.. The first one should be "Hurt Locker" though.. It's such a great movie..

Both titles look to good to pass up on. I will be blind-purchasing both today at lunch time. Good thing there is a Futureshop right down the street from where i work

I liked Hurt Locker, but not enough to buy it. (And good as it is, it's nowhere near "flawless".) I've heard mixed reviews of Moon, so I will probably rent it. Then I will be armed with the knowledge of whether or not I like it enough to justify the purchase price.

I will probably blind buy both.. I understand why people say you should rent first, but really how much do you lose if you buy a movie at $20 and then sell it on at say $14 if you don't like it?? About the price of a rental no?

Besides - if you really like after renting it, it's more expensive when you have to pay for rental on top

I just blind bought Moon, but it's freakin' $30 at Best Buy so if I would say wait till it's cheaper. I got it because I had a gift card and LOVE sci-fi, but I could see alot of people turning away from a movie for 30 bucks, which is understandable

But for me, I would blind buy Moon 10 times out 10 over the Hurt Locker simply because Moon interests me more.

Pricematch BB to Wal-Mart's $24.32. Or just go to Wal-Mart...

Saw both theatrically, and they were my #1 and #2 movies of 2009, with "Moon" at #1. So I love them both, but if I had both in my hands right now, I would rewatch "Moon" first.

All you have to do is go to the Wal-Mart website, look up Moon, and print out the page showing item & price. Bring it to a BB register (at mine, you don't even have to go to customer service, just get right in the regular register check-out line), tell them you want to match Wal-Mart's price, and they'll do it for you and only charge $24.32 for Moon. An easy way to save about 6 bucks over BB's price for Moon.

You probably already know that but by your reply, it didn't sound like it; hope this helps.

Picking up moon instead.Too bad Best Buy didn't have Hurt Locker Steel book, I'll wait until it gets cheaper on amazon and pickup the standard case.

I didn't get a chance to catch Hurt Locker in the theaters. How does this movie compare with Black Hawk Down or am I off base that these two movies are way different? Thanks

Yeah, didn't know BB matched wal-marts website, since wal-mart ITSELF doesn't even match their damn website

They are two completely different movies. It is almost impossble to recommend one over the other for blind buying therefore!

If it were me, I'd go for The Hurt Locker and I didn't see either one.

I don't think Best Buy ever even sold a Blu Ray steelbook so maybe they were confused?

I think there is something else inside that maybe doesn't fit?
