I'd still suggest giving them back and buying the Blu-ray.

The box set was a blind buy for me and not only do I love the show but Blu Ray makes all the difference. The PQ constantly impresses me. Their are a few moments where its to grainy but just stunning work. Feels like your there literally!!!!

I will give them back before 6 starts and plan on buying the Blu 1-6 eventually, it's just a matter of when.

Why throw them away? Sell them so you can buy more Blu-Rays.

I just finished season 2. Never say the show on TV, but always wanted to. So about the time TF:ROTF was released on DVD/BD Best Buy had all seasons on sale for the same $35 a piece they are now. I got seasons 1-3 and with this current sale got 4 and 5. One of the key factors in getting these was the PQ on BD. I, as many others, cannot say enough about the PQ. and if you have the equipment to hear it in lossless audio, ........ bonus!!

So to you I say go to your BB and buy'em up. You could wait for the big complete boxset, but I personally dont think it will equate to the average of $35 a season. Basically, you wanna wait for the uber-boxset or start watching in all the HD spleader now?? Either way, you'll be happy with Lost on blu-ray.

I always thought the DVD quality of LOST was superb especially back in the early days of the Show. But obviously its miles behind BD.

KEEP THE DVD's just for back up.

I've had very little luck with this locally. The local used store gives me a pittance for any kind of media I bring in. Lately I've been sending DVDs to my sister and her family when I'm done with them.

just wrap the old dvds in saran wrap, run a lighter under the seam, and give them out at x-mas.
