If I could do it again, the first thing I watched would be the calibration DVD. I got excited and went straight for 300 and it looked like crap.

I'd recommend Twilight. JK

, I would def. recommend Casino Royale, The Dark Knight, The Patriot, Braveheart, or Up. Also The Phantom of the Opera has great PQ IMO. That's one of the movies I show to compare it to the DVD.

Go with your favorite movie (or the one you like the most that is on BD), watch it, and be floored at how good it looks!

I had not heard that the PQ was better, but I did hear that the AQ was a huge improvement. The best price I have found is $54.00. I'm not sure if I want to pay that ridiculous sum, especially since I have no speaker system. I wish it were cheaper, then I would def. get it.

Marginally. They appear to have been made from the same master. It would take a very large display, or a very close seat to notice the difference. The PQ difference certainly isn't enough to justify the price difference. The audio on the other hand is very much improved.

I would watch my first again, Transformers! PQ completely blew me away, I was so happy with my new TV, PS3 and a few blu's. Next I watched The Rock, Cars and Kill Bill 1 & 2, and I was grinnin ear to ear
