I saw it, and it was great.

If you liked the first one, there is no way in the whole world you will not absolutely love this one.

I must be getting old because I never heard of this title. I'm usually knowlegable on foreign/martial arts/asian movies but I have never heard of this. I am interested now.

Big fan of Yip Man 1, the second was okay... I loved the first half of the film but the second half was very... well, let's just say everybody was right about Rocky.

Lopan, try Ip Man 1 first & see how it goes. That's a fast kick ass martial art film.

J just got Ip Man 2 BD. I just scan tru the BD. It seems the PQ is much better than Ip Man 1.

Haven't seen the 2nd one yet but please don't tell me most of you thought it was just ok because of the Rocky feel to it.

For me, the film is still very entertaining though part 1 is better IMHO.

I love the first one. But....the sequel seemed rushed, lacked heart and wasn't anything special, except for the fish market fight sequence.

This felt like it was out of Hollywood, rather than Asia (which says a lot!). I was severely disappointed.

That's worrysome as I think, despite some excellent action sequences (excluding the anticlimactic final fight), Ip Man is nothing special at all. The trailers for the sequel made it look much more promising. I guess that's not the case.

HK and US versions both are....only US version has ENG dub
