Boner is dead.

Vancouver police say they have found the body of actor Andrew Koenig in a park, several media outlets are reported.

According to the Vancouver Sun newspaper's Web site, police say Koenig's body was found in Stanley Park. Koenig, 41, was last seen by friends near Stanley Park on Valentine's Day. He was supposed to return to his home in Venice, Calif., two days later but never boarded the return flight.

Koenig is best known for playing the role of Richard (Boner) Stabone on the sitcom "Growing Pains" in the 1980s. Koenig's father, Walter Koenig, played Chekhov on the original "Star Trek" television series.

Sad day. Semper Fidelis was one of my favorite Growing Pains episodes. RIP Andrew Koenig.

Actor Andrew Koenig -- best known for his role as Kirk Cameron's pal Boner on the '80s sitcom Growing Pains -- was found dead Thursday in Vancouver, B.C.

At a press conference attended by Koenig's family Thursday evening, police said the actor's body was discovered "in a densely wood area ... unseen from the path" by "family and friends who initiated their own private search." (His father, Star Trek actor Walter Koenig, was among the people who joined in on the search.)

Foul play is not suspected.

"My son took his own life," his father Walter told reporters, adding that his son had been battling depression.

"Don't ignore it; don't rationalize it," he said in regards to depression. "Extend a hand."

Just saw this on yahoo's home page. Really did anybody believe he just moved out of his apartment, sold everything he owned and went traveling? It was pretty obvious what he was going to do. Very sad still, RIP Andrew. I'll always remember Growing Pains.
