As mentioned above the soft paint brush and container of soapy water works the best. I use Dawn Clear with no additives, it leaves no residue and rinses off clean. I use 1 drop per medium size margarine container. For the price there's nothing on the market that will even come close, 2.99 for the soap, 1.99 for a brush.

Do you dry the lp, or let it air dry?

Wipe off the excess and stand it up in a dishrack to air dry. Used to do it all the time back in the early, early days.

John nailed it. I wipe most off with a micro fiber and leave them out for a bit to let water deeper in the grooves dry. I actually just put out a towel and lay them there for 15-20 minutes or so.

right...I use an auto detailing microfiber towel to dry. They work best slightly damp, and suck up most of the water. Doesn't take long for the rest to dry and there's no water spots or anything.

id just thought id let people know that spin clean is about to increase the price. acoutstic sounds has it listed for 80 now in thier latest catalog that i just received and an email from soundstage direct still lists it for 60 but states that its 'last chance before price increase'

I just use the bags unlimited groovy spray + their supplied cloths.

Works great, leaves no residue, and I simply lean the records on end against a couch or something to air dry any excess. I haven't experienced any water spots or any streaking either.

Has anyone here actually tried the glue method? I think I may try it. Anyone have tips?

Glue on a record?! *Shudder* I wouldn't even contemplate it, except *maybe* as a last resort. But even then, probably not.

Try it an old really dirty record you may have bought at a garage sale or whatever. It works like a charm and leaves no residue. It isn't the most cost-effective way of cleaning however, but it's a fun thing to try.
