It's just stock music, Q! Since this is all like mockumentary like Blair Witch, there's not really a soundtrack to it.

Sweet.

I want to see this.

Eastwood don't turn it into a 3D though.

It's just 2D, Stewie. We might do a 3D movie later, if we can get enough money from future projects. We're all ready planning the second feature. We might film it this Summer.

Are you funding this yourself?

If you could get everybody in this thread who’s expressed interest in your film, to donate $1 through PayPal, you’d have like $6 towards marketing.

[Show spoiler]Sorry, I know I'm a smartass, but I think it's awesome what you're doing. I've always wanted to make movies but I never had the movie to do it. Way to go man. BTW, i've always wondered..........what is your real name, cause it can't really be Orlando Eastwood that's wayy to hollywood.

It's Stephen. Thanks. I lucked out by going to Ohio. My family owns property out here so I have several locations to film at and it's not costing me anything at all. Filming this movie has been really, really cheap.

Yeah during your introduction I noticed all the snow covered property behind you and was curious where you where. I have a lot of open territory to, and I have plenty of stories I've written just never adapted any to script form. Plus I don't know nobody else interested in film making so I'm SOL.

EDIT:

Yeah, I saw IMDB promoting it. Thats where I saw the festival openings. So, hopefully I can get it done in time to take it somewheres.
There's always something going on. I had to stop my email subscription because I hadn't anything done yet and it was taking over my email. But let me know how things go. What's the knowledge of film that you gained, did you watch dvd/bluray special features?

And how did you do the blood scenes, I'm curious.

I think it's due to all the posting why it went crazy.

I did use to watch special features on DVD, back in the day. But, I did four years of film classes in high school from 2004 - 2008.

It's that cheap stuff you can buy during Halloween. Of course, you can make your own with Karyo syrup and food coloring, but I've had that fake blood for a while and just wanted to use it. It tasted nasty as hell too. I was trying to just put it on the side of my mouth but it wasn't working. So, I just put the syringe in my mouth and then in my nose and injected it in to make it look like I was bleeding. Wash syringe clean with soap the best you can after use.

I've had previous attempts with others that went nowhere. So, you can't really give up on it. Just keep going at it with something else.

Interesting, I'll probably make my pre-Hollywood films without any special effects or anything, just try to rely on simple storytelling.

Did you go to college for film?

No, high school. I did take a year of college, but due to my health, I left and now I am doing this. It's been almost two years since I've done any directing, but it's all good. Seriously, if you want to make a movie, you gotta do it yourself because most of the time you'll get screwed over. I was SOL back in 2005, when I did a pitch and wrote a script and then the studio went bankrupt. 2008, Uwe Boll screwed me over on three projects. And in 2009, I was screwed over on two projects that I wrote by so called "Producers" in Hawaii. I did the funding myself, thanks to my family owning property it literally saved me out of thousands of dollars.

I don't know why you would associate yourself with someone of Uwe's stature. Man's a total moron. When you get famous, straight up insult the dude.

And yes you got to do everything by yourself, most people will screw you, my high school project was such utter ****. I hated the script and I had to dual roles which had choppy editing. It was all last minute because nobody was willing to assist me. People made promises, but didn't deliver. *** em.

I made a thread about working with the man, which you can read above. It's a very long post. I was really trying to get to do my own Alone in the Dark film, is the whole reason why. I had a treatment written for it and it was essentially a reboot based off the first video game with Ed Carnby in the haunted house solving the mystery to man who had killed himself back in the 1920's.

So who in your family is in the business? If nobody than how the hell did you make all these connections at such a very young age on your own?

Uwe does this to himself. It explains it, how did you come across meeting him? And to the contrary Furlong had a short revival in AHX

I really hope your Darfur script gets published. It'd be straightout insulting that you did it better. Has Uwe even seen Hotel Rwanda?

And I spoke to the director of Kabluey. Interesting guy. I was really hoping he got nominated for best Original Screenplay but he didn't get it. I'm going to try to talk to him again since I'm planning to transfer and maybe get a recommendation letter from him.

The Indie studio that went bankrupt was my cousin's boyfriend. She gave her bf's contact info and we met and talked movies and I ended up pitching a detective murder mystery. Boll, I got lucky. A friend of a friend from Germany. And then the local producers on the Big Island, I sought them out. There was some flyers on the campus advertising some audition and I called them up and met a producer who does modeling company and worked some stuff out. I'm only in contacts with the one producer who has her modeling company.

My cousin's bf, who is still making movies, at a very slow rate; assessed the cost of the film with everything factored in. I would have been spending at least $25K on the film right now if I didn't have the resources with my family owning property and all that stuff. I'm shooting for a fraction of that $25k.

Yeah, I've re-worked the script in some aspects. The new story is not at the top of my list right now, so I'll visit it on my external hard drive here and there and add to it. That's cool about meeting that director, I've heard of the film, but haven't seen it.

Do you consider moving to NY or LA, maybe end up meeting the right people.
