I guess anyone can become a "top rated seller" nowadays.

I wish Google comes up with an alternative to eBay soon.
Or at least offers something similar with lower fees using Google checkout.

Be it $1,400, $1,000, $500, or even $100, I think anyone who buys stuff just to resell it on eBay is ridiculous.

At least the $1,400 guy seems to have done it as a joke. Or so he says.

Also on eBay, my buddy got outbid on an unsealed one last night for $64.00 plus shipping.

I know he's pissed.

I've seen 'em sell for $100, they keep going up as the supply shrinks and the demand rises.

So yeah, $26, $35-$60... you'd probably avoid be called a "scalper".
Maybe your buddy should check this one out.

Personal hand delivery?!?! Looks like the seller just wants a vacation lol.

I hope someone in like, the far edges of Alaska buys it in the middle of winter just to make him go.

Here is the proper thread if you wanna discuss the ebay auction, not here. Its pointless and anyone including myself can post a SteelBook for an astronomical amount of money.
So all the crazy and funny eBay auctions have to be posted in the thread you linked?

Sometimes I just post an eBay link because it's funny to see how much some sellers ask for their steelbooks.

I actually saw that listing and my jaw dropped, I don't know if it's a joke or what not, but that seller is asking quite a steep price for something that should be worth perhaps at most $200. Thing is there is no reason why someone can't ask a crazy price on ebay, call the seller what you want but it's the sellers right and ebay is just an auction site afterall. I know people overpay all the time on stuff there but if somebody actually buys that for $1,400 they really need a healthy reality check. I'd rather hand that kind of money to the homeless, charity or someone who really needs it. That's why they call it greedbay. Good luck to the seller though, I guess they always think some sucker will come along and buy it and than say, oh my I got screwed.
