I just can't stand that this movie hasn't been released yet. I mean, come on, the DVD is 4x3... So I made this and I'm gonna burn the 1080i rip (wich looks fantastic) on Blu-ray until they release it for real. Thought some of you might want it or just enjoy looking at it, lol. Cheers!

It would have been cooler for sure. They changed more than the ending though. But again, I'm not big on comparing books and movies, such different mediums.

I usually agree with that, but this was one where the happy ending tacked on made no sense and crapped on what came before it.

Loved this movie as a kid. Watched it again just a couple years ago and still enjoyed it. Angelica Huston might just be the best big screen witch ever. Great score, too. Hope it hits Blu-ray someday.

I'll remember I watching this on TV I was a kid in the 1990's and very creeping at the end. I will re-watched this again.

I picked this up for my kids this Halloween. We may watch it tonight.
I purchase very few new DVDs, but I splurged the $5 for this.

It's available in HDX on VUDU. I bought it when it was on sale.

Just checked and it is still on sale right now for $7.88.

It works with at-home Disc 2 Digital, this was one of the initial titles I went in on.

Couldn't agree more. The movie's ending is tonally out of place with the rest of the movie (not to mention the fact that it dumbs it down).
