Was there a lot of shaky cam in this film?

Not that I recall.

The grain only bugged me because there was interaction scenes where when they looked at one character it would look fine but when they look at the other standing opposite it was god awful

Kind of a mix of the Bourne series and The International.

It is eerily detailed and almost makes you wonder how close to the truth the movie really is. Really was enjoyable and definitely has a message that should be heeded.

Really reevaluating my stance on the Iraq War because of this, and for that reason alone this is a good movie because if it can make me think as well as entertain me I call that a success.

This is what scared me and my friend so much. It doesnt say its based on a true story but it sure makes it look like it was and implies it. Which is going to make a lot of people question based on a hollywood movie which is messed up.

It scared us that people were going to take it for truth not that we thought it was true and questioning our stance on the war.

I guess The Forth Kind also made you think that Aliens had taken over a little snowy village in the 80's as well.

As Rob said, it's a Damon film, which by definition means it is most likely the exact OPPOSITE of reality. Enjoy it for the action, but please don't allow a film like this to change any views you may have.

I heard this movie is terrible, but it's already surpassed The Hurt Locker's domestic gross, after just one week.

So maybe it'll win Best Picture next year.

Don't bash his opinion guys. I mean, Predator made me re-evaluate my stance on alien dreadlock dudes.....as it turned out they're all jerks who just want our skulls for trophies.
