INTERESTING (said with a foreign accent)
I didn't know Power DVD had that function. Well, in that case all the back and forth about the print screen button functions was useless.

Capture frame button disappears when playing a BD though - it becomes the Popup Menu button instead.

But the real trick is to do this *without* ripping, doing it legit...

Good luck!

SnagIt - no.
Shift/Ctrl/Alt + Prt Sc - no.

HW accel turned off, BD will not play.

Looks like i'm still at square one. I've donwloaded capture programs and they don't work. I don't want to rip it, because that's just too much work for a simple screenshot. I mean some of these BD's are like 48 gigs or so!!! like Pirates, I'm using a laptop I don't have the space to just give up 50 gigs.

I have 200GB worth of space(130GB free without my rips, 74 with rips intact)... I digress...

One thing I haven't tried yet...
Does your machine see the BD in My Computer in the optical drive?
Can you explore the disc?
Kill off HW Accel and open the Stream folder - usually the first m2ts file will be the whole video.

If that will play, with Accel disabled, then youi *MIGHT* be able to Shift+Prt Sc and get a capture.

Don't ya just hate UOP?

Side Note: Ripping The Wild took 48 minutes.
Ripping Chicken Little took 59 minutes.

Yeah I ripped Pirates, and I have 200 gig's of Harddrive space as well, but between my Games and the videos I download (Mostly TV shows, anime and Porn) LoL J/k. But I don't have justification for 50 gigs to just sit there on my HDD. Can I back them up on to a Blank Blu Ray? And if so, can it be an RE? What Program would I use? ( I ripped using Any DVD HD)

I use DVDFab Platinum.
It will rip and burn by itself.
AnyDVD is not needed.

http://www.dvdfab.com/

As for the "Research Videos"(LOL), I don't keep them for very long so the space gets reused.

I keep a couple ripped DVDs and BDs on the HDDs just so I don't have to carry the discs themselves.

Platinum, and yes.
The last AnyDVD HD was screwing with my burner so I trashed it.
DVDFab Platinum doesn't require anything like AnyDVD HD to rip BDs and has it's own built-in burning capabilities.

Your choice I suppose. Don't think it matters to the program...

Ok, and my Player should be able to read RE's with no problem? It's a UJ 220.
