It's another amazing show, you don't have to know anything about motorcycle culture or the life to love this show. It's fan base ranges from young to old, it's Hamlet on bikes, Absolutely must see tv.

Cool will be checking out Breaking Bad tonight and next on my list will be SOA. Can't believe all these awesome cable shows. Before I only watched network up till a year or 2 ago I would say but after seeing Dexter and Californication it's pretty much all cable shows with few network.

I personally vouch for both of your choices and you will not be disappointed, amazing cable shows. I'm the same way, it's nearly all cable shows in my lineup too.

Yeah and before I discovered cable shows I loved really long seasons but so much of my favorite shows are 13 episodes and under and tell way more story and character development then network shows. I can also count on them to last a few seasons usually when network I can't even be sure I will get more then 4 episodes.

Yup, they do twice as much with half as much. Even though cable shows like Boardwalk Empire truly are 58 minute episodes, so they end up with enough to equal 16 episodes, it's still a lot less than 25 episodes.

Yeah I also love that we get an actual hour and not just 45 minutes. Just like how Californication is pretty much 30 min and not 25 like network. I also like the realism they bring to the shows to like in Dexter the cops actually swear etc while say on CSI they never even say damn or something to that effect even after what they see everyday.

Not saying a show need's swearing to be good but just the realism they bring to the shows and characters.

But the swearing does make me think Deb is so ignorant she is incapable of normal speech lol. I have nothing against swearing, hell I do it a lot, but she just sounds disgusting when she does it, considering she manages to say f*ck in every sentence, multiple times. I really hate her character in general though and was a huge factor in why I quit watching the show, amongst many other problems I have with it.

Yeah Deb is the only instance when swearing has become really annoying to me. It doesn't bother me but I mean my god she should give it a rest once in awhile. I also don't like her as a character that much anymore because of the swearing.

I just haven't seen much of a purpose for her in a long time, she swears, screws every guy she meets and does her job very poorly, lol. Not to mention the fact that Quinn is a complete rehash of Doakes so having already seen how that plays out I felt no reason for me to even watch anymore.

Yeah I have only seen 8 episodes so far of this season and waiting on the rest to marathon the rest of the season but I still don't see any point in Debra and really want to see her killed off to see what Dexter would do. I do agree the whole Quinn thing has already been done with Doakes so that's a rehash.

It became far to repetitive for me to enjoy and each season I enjoyed less and less so I figured it was just better for me to quit watching before I ended up hating the series all together.

Yeah I think season 4 is my favorite so far followed by 2 and 5. Not really a fan of season 3.

This sounds fantastic, and I also notice that since Breaking Bad was pushed to July, this has taken it's March spot. There are some fantastic looking shows set to debut on cable over the next few months, that I am very excited for. Now that production is finally underway we should hopefully start getting lots more photos and promos and teasers over the next month.

Lead homicide detective Sarah Linden (Mireille Enos) and ex-narc cop Stephen Holder (Joel Kinnaman) investigate the death of Rosie Larsen in AMC's newest original series, The Killing, premiering in March 2011.

AMC begins production today in Vancouver on the network's next original series, The Killing. From writer, executive producer and series showrunner Veena Sud (Cold Case), The Killing is based on the wildly successful Danish television series Forbrydelsen. It tells the story of the murder of a young girl in Seattle and the subsequent police investigation. Produced by Fox Television Studios, it is executive produced by Mikkel Bondesen (Burn Notice) for Fuse Entertainment. Fuse's Kristen Campo co-produces. Season one consists of thirteen, one-hour episodes and is slated to premiere in March 2011.

"The Killing marks the first foray into a crime mystery genre for AMC. We were drawn to the project immediately after viewing the original format. Veena's adaptation has everything we loved about the original and more -- it is compelling and addictive storytelling," said Susie Fitzgerald, AMC's SVP of scripted development and current programming. "We could also not be more impressed with the level of talent that we have working on it from our amazing cast and crew to our dedicated partners at FTVS and Fuse."

David Madden, President of Fox TV Studios, added, "From the moment Mikkel Bondesen brought us the Danish series, we knew The Killing was something special, and that we would need the trifecta of exceptional writer/showrunner, which we found in Veena Sud, a breakout cast, and a creatively driven, forward-thinking network to give this project the life it deserves in the US. We are thrilled to roll cameras on The Killing and look forward to its airing on AMC."

The Killing ties together three distinct stories around a single murder including the detectives assigned to the case, the victim's grieving family and the suspects. Set in Seattle, the story also explores local politics as it follows politicians connected to the case. As the series unfolds, it becomes clear that there are no accidents; everyone has a secret, and while the characters think they've moved on, their past isn't done with them.

The Killing stars Mireille Enos (Big Love) as "Sarah Linden," who is the lead homicide detective that investigates the death of Rosie Larsen. Other castings include: Billy Campbell (Once and Again, Enough) as "Darren Richmond," Seattle's City Council President running for Mayor; Michelle Forbes (True Blood) as "Mitch Larsen," Rosie's mother; Joel Kinnaman (Snabba Cash) as "Stephen Holder," an ex-narc cop who joins the homicide division in the investigation to find Rosie Larsen's killer; and Brent Sexton (W., In the Valley of Elah) as "Stan Larsen," Rosie's father.

It's gonna take me some getting used to the female lead a bit. As someone who's watched Big Love for years it'll be a real change of pace to not see her as Polygamist twins Jodeen and Kathy Marquart.

Never seen Big Love so this will be the first I see her I think. I have seen Forbes from TB so she's not new to me but I think she's the only one.

Oh wow, you'd never seen Fobes prior to True Blood? I've been familiar with her going all the way back to when she played Duchovny's wife in Kalifornia, around '94 I think. It was the movie where Brad Pitt was a serial killer appropriately named Early Graves and he and Juliette Lewis traveled with Duchovny and Forbes visiting famous serial killer locations, while he secretly killed people, haha. I've seen her in probably 10 tv shows and 30 movies since then. Billy Campbell will always be the Rocketeer to me, with his jet pack fighting nazis.

Might have seen her but nothing I can remember except True Blood. That Kalifornia movie sounds interesting though.
