Seriously, everyone has different opinions about what games are good. For example, soooo many people will say Call Of Duty (any installment) because it's what everyone else is doing. That game is utter rubbish in my eyes. And, as for its online multiplayer aspect which is hailed as godly? I say that Uncharted 2 online multiplayer offers a thousand-fold more enjoyable an experience in multiplayer gameplay.

Some of the must-haves that I personally recommend are (in order):

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune
LittleBigPlanet
Rock Band 2
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns Of The Patriots
Batman: Arkham Asylum
Magic Ball

I like Uncharted 2 and GOW3 on your list. I like moody or fast games. I don't anything complex in design.. just pick up and go games.

I own 5 PS3 games, since I primarily bought it for movies. But if you're an old-school gamer, and remember Legend of Zelda with any positive memories at all, you must buy this game. I went out and purchased it on release based on the word-of-mouth. It's very similar to Zelda and Link to the Past. Good!

You all need to read the OP's post, not just his thread title. He's already played through U2, GOW3, and Heavy Rain. But anyways, how many of these threads do we need?

You know what we should do is have a sticky thread that is based on the polls each official game thread has and list those games in order of highest rated to least. It'll just answer the question, "which game should I play next?"

Try Heavenly Sword. Kind of like GOW but with a female lead. Great voice acting and the gameplay is very similar.
