Haha nice i like how you referred to it as a third world country. Compare the prices to me, i wanna see if it is similar to my where i am as well.

It seems ludacris to me that Paramount would just destroy all those discs rather than release them and then go exclusive with future releases.

At this point it wouldnt suprise me, chances are if we do get some and they are really serious about it, they will either have Target Recall the item so the registers wont let it go through a sale or have them put in lockup for holding until the vendor gets them back

Ludacris? What would you do with maybe $100,000 worth of product if someone offered you $150,000,000 and stipulated that part of getting that money was to garbage your $100,000 production line? I'm sorry, but I would run to the closest distribution hub and start break the discs over my head in gleeful child-like stupidity! Wouldn't you?

Then you would run the certain risk of losing the $150,000,000 PLUS being fined another $X,000,000 for breach of contract! That wouldn't sit well with me even as the most REMOTE possibility.

Hot women with "sweetish" accents? Does that mean that their accents are kind of innocent, but not really? ... Either way, I need to know. Can I borrow one of them for a few hours to do some work for me?!?!

You guys are hilarious.

My local Target has been at 3 vertical columns for a long time, with very few titles changing over time. Given that Fry's has five full shelves (that's five of four-feet wide sections of 6 or 7 shelves each) and has cheaper prices, I kind of have a hard time buying Blu-rays at Target. Whick sucks because my girlfriend loves that store and often drags me there.

If they can get more titles and cheaper prices, I guarantee you I'll buy tons more at Target....

enjoy

agreed, fry's has better selection - they have almost, if not all, the blu-ray movies out and price is almost as good as walmart's.

unfortunately for other people, they don't have as many stores around.

Well damm your Target must sell really good then, and yeah 300 for 25 bucks regular price is helping the movie still sell in stores. Hopefully more markdowns will occur.

$150,000,000 wouldn't even equal the money they would've made just by releasing Transformers and Shrek 3 on blu-ray. Big monies were passed under the table to Paramount top execs. Think about it, their company will lose money off of this, also, the stockholders, retailers, directors, and top movie stars that get % of profits get shortchanged by this move. It is nonsensical if not for shady, underhanded dealings.
