Bringing up an old thread here, I'm curious how the OP feels about the Rotel and I have another question for those of you out there.

I'm now in Italy and we can have things shipped to us via APO address, the problem is that there is a 70 lb max for shipping. I do not want to have to pay for shipping/vat as well...would rather get something that can be shipped via APO.

Can the heatsinks on the Rotel be removed so the item can be shipped in two packages thus to keep a single item weight under 70 lbs? Just curious, for I am very interested in this amp and one other. My other other choice is the Sunfire Cinema Grand 200 or TGA 5200 mainly due for the weight.

Also looking at a BK 200.5...but weight is an issue as well.

I am all pumped up with the thought of having a Sunfire or Rotel...but if there is way to get a Rotel shipped I may be able to find one cheaper than the Sunfire.
