I'd be happy with Deadwood and The Wire, I'll likely get Treme when it comes out too, really good show.

jus like many older dvd movies were shot it SD, yes Curb was shot 4:3, so i wouldnt be widescreen on blu ray, unless they crop n cut n crap, but i dont think they would, but that dosent mean it shouldnt get a blu ray transfer, i HD transfer would be great

seasons 1&2 of entourage were shot in SD 4:3, but im still gona pick them up regardless, looking foward to see what they do with them

You're confusing 4:3 with SD. Entourage was 4:3 from the start (though I imagine it's possible they protected for 16:9) but it was shot on 35mm, so they could rescan the film for a high-definition picture. CYE on the other hand was shot on digital SD video, so the resolution is fixed and there is literally nothing they could do but upscale it for Blu-ray.

Does no one watch How to Make it in America? If you like Entourage, you'd like this show. Highly recommend it.

I have no HBO Blu-Ray's at the moment (I had Sopranos S.6.1 + 6.2, John Adams and True Blood S.1) but I wish these were out:

1. Carnivale S. 1+2
2. Six Feet Under S. 1-5
3. In Treatment S. 1
4. Big Love S. 1-5
5. The Wire S. 1-5
6. Tell Me You Love Me S. 1
7. The Sopranos S. 2-5

The reason why we're probably waiting so long for good releases of HBO programming, is because HBO's price points are bananas even on DVD, and the Blu-ray set pricing is awful even in comparison to that. They released The Sopranos Season 1 not too long ago, and I got that at Target for like 40 bucks, and for that price I'd bite... bottom line is that HBO is really just clueless as to how they should handle their own properties. Showtime on the other hand is releasing most their stuff, and at good prices. Weeds and Dexter sell just fine.

I can't find time to watch so many of the shows listed, wow.

I stopped HBO after Deadwood/ Soprano's cancelled.

When I did have it my shows were;

Deadwood
Soprano's
Curb Your Enthusiasm

And loved Band of Brothers.

That all said...Band of Brothers and John Adams are the only 2 HBO titles I bought of the HBO stuff.

I don't think I'd watch all that prgramming again but...Deadwood would be a hoot thinking about it now.

LMAO i forgot all about that show.... probably my first introduction to screwed up HBO comedy not long before i discovered MR show (best show ever). I wonder if that had a dvd release... i remember it being pretty funny and out there, then again i was probably like 13 at the time so most of HBO's stuff felt that way.
