In my opinion, "No Love" is the turning point of that album. All pretty solid after that... in my opinion.

No one can touch his flow? Hmm... It's a good album but not excellent. All the things he raps about is just about the same as in the past. Just with different celebs.
TMMLP was his best album from start to finish, but after that he couldn't top that. |

I listened to this album this morning - seemed like more of the same - which isn't bad exactly. His lyrical rythme is still unique and fun - but I can listen to his other CDs to get the same effect. We've already heard about what a screw up he is, how he loves Hailey, etc. etc. - all that is here all over again - the only thing new is the apologies.
Is this CD bad - no - does it offer anything new - not really. C+/B- from me. |

When Em is Shady... he will lose to anyone. Shit gets old... soooo year 2000.
![]() When he's serious. He's one of the most talented MC's out there, but I'm afraid his Shady ego is more of his character these days so buying his music.. I hesitate just a tad longer. Glad his Recovery CD was only $10. Haven't listened to it for about 2 weeks now. ![]() |

As far as Em and Canibus... tough call. I'd pay to see this one. I'd probably put Canibus because IMO he's a better freestyle rapper out there and never disappoints, while EM is probably the better writer between the 2. This can be decided in 7 games

Eminem has crazy wordplay....please don't get that confused with Flow or Delivery. Because someone has great wordplay doesn't mean he can't be touched. I like Eminem as a rapper but I can name 10 rappers that can get at him at anytime. I'll list a quick 5 and One being my favorite rapper Redman.
Here's why, Eminem loves Redman and got his style from him. Redman is Eminems favorite rapper and he's even said so on a few songs. Listen to Redman's first few albums and tell me Eminem is original. Nas is light years better than Emeinem in almost every aspect. 'Nuff said....I shoudln't even have to explain myself for him. Hip hop as a culture would not be what it is today if Nas never existed. 2Pac easily......same reason as Nas! Lupe Fiasco.....first off, Lupe is not a battle rapper. Never was, but a better overall emcee than Eminem on any day. Jay-Z (and this is very subjective). It all depends on what era we're talking about. Me personally, I'm more prone to listen to Jay-Z than Eminem simply because Jay-Z makes music that I like. Eminem makes music that I like when he's not talking about how f*cked up his mother is or how much he hates Kim or his step dad f*cking him and garbage like that. Which is RARE! Especially lately which is why I despise Relapse so much. This is all subjective and it depends on what YOU like. I consider Eminem a Top 10 Rapper, but PLEEEASE don't say he can't be touched....thats a damn lie!! |
