Think we can make Stickerbooks with the empty cases.

Cut the slip case and paste it gently on top of the Steelbook.

Maybe, we can start with Iron Man and Indy 4 and try selling it for $1000000000000000000 in eBay.

You do know these are dvd sized SteelBooks, right? They have not released blank blu-ray sized SteelBooks for sale yet, but I'm sure they are coming.

I don't know if the slipcase would work since it's pretty thick, but the artwork from the amaray case might do the trick. If and when they do decide to start selling blu versions, I might see what a custom Transformers SteelBook would look like.

I don't know, I think it looks like a dvd sized SteelBook, especially the pictures with the halfslips on them. The picture with the disc inside a single case looks like it is blu-ray sized since there is less space below the disc, and the book hinges on the left are closer to the handle, but I don't think the picture with the single disc empty case is blu. The empty shot shows the hinges are farther apart, and the space below the disc is greater than in the picture with the disc. I'm thinking these will be dvd sized SteelBooks, but the only real way to tell is for someone to order some and find out.

I checked and the 1 disc IS indeed a Blu-ray sized Steelbook. Look at the internal dimensions.

I also ordered a 3 pack of the 1 disc, and they are dvd sized as well.

Now what someone needs to market is a quick print adhesive template to print your own covers. I could think of a couple solid(my faves) movies I would want in SteelBook packaging

The front has an indentation correct? that's going to make it harder to print and stick your own labels...

If there was an easy way to print labels I'd be buying a ton of these to convert some of my DVD's!!!

Yes there is an indentation on the front. I wouldn't want a full sticker anyway, just some decent size stickers to label the front. Something similar to the design in the pic below, but using up more space on the front and back. I wouldn't want to cover up the steelbook logo on the bottom.
