Hey there, man. I see you are from Canada.
Being from Canada, I hoped you would be able to realize that there are a lot of immigrants in our country, and for many of them English isnt their first language.

P.S. Can everyone please stop outlining my english grammar mistakes. This is not an english language grammar class.

" If you like Crank, then you'll like Crank 2."

I thought that would have been the case.. Same with Transformers 1 & 2

If you like a steaming pile of dog ##$#%, you will like Spiderman 3, 10,000 B.C. and The BIg Labowski

For the record, The Nightmare Before Christmas and Corpse Bride are not directed by the same person. The Nightmare Before Christmas was directed by Henry Selick who went on to do Coraline. Corpse Bride was directed by Tim Burton and Mike Johnson, who worked on Nightmare.

If you like Empire Records, then you will like Airheads...and you will be awesome.

Here's an obvious one:

If you like North by Northwest, you will like Saboteur.

I've updated the first post with all the legible suggestions.

I'll try to find something to correlate with current releases...

If you like Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant, then you'll like Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief.

If you like Dawn of the Dead (2004), then you'll like The Crazies (2010.)

If you like The Hangover, then you'll like Hot Tub Time Machine.

If you like The Kingdom, then you'll like Green Zone.

If you like The Queen, then you'll like The Last Station.

If you like Escape From New York, then you'll like The Book of Eli.

If you like Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang, then you'll like From Paris with Love.

If you like Memento, then you'll like Shutter Island.

If you like Crap, then you'll like When in Rome.

If you like "Avatar," you'll like "Battle for Terra." (similar stories, both loaded with CGI, both with pro-environmental and anti-war themes).

If you like "The Lawnmower Man," you'll like "Virtuosity." (both deal with psychopaths in a virtual environment, both involve some wild retro CGI, both are cyberpunk thrillers).

If you like "2012" then you'll like "The Day After Tomorrow." (both disaster movies with similar levels of plot/character development and mass destruction)

If you like "The Road" then you'll like "The Day After." (not to be confused with "The Day After Tomorrow;" both are grim slowly-paced post-apocalypse dramas)

If you like "Die Hard with a Vengeance" then you'll like "12 Rounds." (very similar story)

If you like "Ong Bak" then you'll like "The Protector." (both are stories revolving around one central (practically invincible and masterful) character finding something in a foreign place, and both have wicked fight scenes)

If "Ghost in the Shell" then "The Matrix" (both have similar concepts, Trinity and Motoko are similar characters (at least in style), both have a similar style overall, and ultimately GITS was a major influence on the Matrix)

If "Dante's Peak" then "Volcano" (similar subjct matter, similar stoylines in essence, both disaster flicks...heck, I think they both came out at the same time)

If "Escape from New York" then "Doomsday" (practically the same story, similar characters (and they both have one eye!), similar elements)

If "Star Wars: A New Hope" then "The Hidden Fortress" (same story, similar characters; Lucas totally ripped it off )

If "Star Wars: A New Hope" then "The Dam Busters" (similar story, almost the exact same battle sequence; another rip off! )

If "Airplane!" then "Zero Hour!" (shot-by-shot the exact same )

...and I gotta say it, if you like one "LOTR," you'll probably like any of the others in the series. They're all one story practically, they're all the same in terms of style, character/plot development, themes, etc. I know some folks prefer one over the other, but you really have to watch them all together at least once.

Chicken Little is hilarious! One of the funniest (not cutest or smartest) CG movies I've ever seen.

Also, I completely agree with you on Nightmare/Corpse Bride. Loved Nightmare, loathed Corpse Bride. The first is a classic and the second is forgettable at best.

I loved the first Crank and hate the second with a passion. My suggestions are

If you like The Day After Tomorrow you will like 2012.

If you like Forgetting Sarah Marshall you will like Get Him To The Greek.

If you like Harry Potter you will like Percy Jackson.

If you like Backdraft you will like Ladder 49.

If you like Sahara you will like Into The Blue.

These of corse all my opinion.

i was once told by a friend that since I loved Bill And Ted's Excellent Adventure that I was sure to like Dude Where's My Car? Dude had a few moments but the story got worse as it got into it and it seemed like they didn't know what to do with it. At least with Adventure it remained true to it's own logic and the story never seemed to stray way it's own believability.
