That reminds me that I forgot to mention above that, as a thespian myself, I have partaken in a few Halloween fundraising "interactive live performance" portion of 'Rocky Horror Picture Show' screenings. It's strange how each time I was chosen to be Riff Raff.

As for the parties... the theatre definitely provides some of the most outrageous shindigs. I attended one where we had 18 people (men & women of ages varying from 18 to 65) in a 6 person hot tub. Oh, and did I mention that those 18 people were all completely naked? As one of the initiators, I was one of the first ones in. By the time it got out of hand, I was trapped. I had no choice but to wait it out.

Ah... memories...
And then you woke up!

Once the old-timers starting derobing, I sincerely wish I had! But, there were about 5 young women that made the first 13 or so people in the hot tub worth it.

Oddly, my girlfriend was, only a few hours ago, singing the Time Warp song.

Such a strange little movie... I imagine I'd pick it up if I could.

I would buy it in a second. Maybe when the MTV remake airs, we'll get it.

I'd buy it for sure! Spent many a "mind-altered" night with friends at the midnight showings during college, doin' the Timewarp and having a blast.

Seriously, MTV remaking this? GTFO. Guaranteed to be the biggest steaming pile of ever made.

Love to see a live midnight screening show play along as a PIP feature.

This would be quite a film to see in BD (especially the time warp/laboratory sequences.) I've never seen it at the midnight showings but I hear that's the way to do it; my sister tells me they show them in France and England as well Hope to hear a release date soon.

While I agree with BStecke that audience partici__pation was a big part of the film's mistique, I could invite the neighbors over. Where are my squirt gun and the umbrellas? I can still throw popcorn at the screen (the dog will love it). [It will be fun to compare Tim Curry in Scary Movie 2.] Who will stand by the screen and pretend to massage Susan Sarandon in her underwear? I could borrow my wife's mascara--yes, Halloween would be a good time to release it. Let's do the time warp again . . .
