One of the best news this year!

I've never seen the documentary, so this is absolutely awesome.

Same here....I wasn't even aware of the documentary until the age of DVD, and as we know, it never received a DVD release.

So I'll be seeing it for the first time myself.

Documentary never had a DVD release? I just watched it on DVD through Netflix a couple of months ago.

News of this release is great news. I just hope that Lionsgate gives it great PQ.

My thoughts exactly. I'm glad I saw it, but the original is a better story.

We must kill them. We must incinerate them. Pig after pig... cow after cow... village after village... army after army...

Hunt usually has very good sources. I would think with him sticking his neck out like that he knows the title is indeed on the way.

I'm definitely all over this when it's released. Like others have said the correct aspect ratio would be the cherry on top. It really baffles me that Coppola allowed that change after the fact.

I saw AN in the movie theaters when I was a lad. I hope they pay respect to the transfer and make it sublime.

That's funny, since I own it on DVD. Another misinformation fail.

I guess Google is too much effort.

+1. I saw it for the first time when a friend let me borrow his DVD copy. Not sure where his information was coming from.

It's about time! And from what it souds like, we're finally getting a complete release of the film. Everything we could ever want. One of my top five favorite films. Excellent news.

AH YES, One step closer to a COMPLETE Blu-ray classic films collection.

One question when will this be released? This is a day one purchase, no doubt!

As long as the blu has the destruction of the Kurtz compound footage that was originally supposed to play over the end credits, I'm happy. It was on the original DVD release but left off the Complete Dossier edition.
