I've been wanting to see this since I started seeing some of the stills for it. I'm hoping it actually gets a wide release otherwise I'll probably have to wait for the Blu.

Rainn Wilson definitely doesn't fit the superhero look but Page is definitely sexy so probably in for this.

I heard about all the people in this movie and was looking forward to it...

Then I saw those two clips...

I'm hoping they are the low points of the film....

I see that they plan to release it during the same time Kick-ass came out. Smart thinking!

When I first read about some line "Shut up, crime," it didn't make sense, but when you see Wilson saying that line of dialogue, it makes the line classic!

Perfect movie for both Page and Wilson.

I'll wait for reviews or another trailer to sell me on it. This is the fourth low-budget/indie 'normal guy puts on costume to fight crime' movie to come out semi-recently. I'm no longer sold on the concept alone and this trailer didn't have anything that stuck out for me. Maybe that is just me.

To be clear, the other three movies I'm thinking of are Special, Defendor, and Kick-Ass.

Yeah, it is a little different to be sure, but I still lop them in the same small category.

Super doesn't look any better or worse than the others I mentioned. It just looks like the flavor of the month, another entry to the sub-genre. I hope I am wrong because of the three movies I mentioned, only Kick-Ass has fully delivered what I was hoping for.

Cool a new movie with Ellen Page. I have always been a fan of hers so i will have to try and go see this.

It has a vibe of been there, done that. Kick Ass did it better. The only redeeming point is going to be Ellen Page but I suspect this movie will flop hard. If this movie had came out during the same time as Kick Ass or even before, it might have done better but we are seriously in Superhero overload here.

I thought Special was very different from Kick-Ass.

Kick-Ass was a twist on super-hero stories but essentially a fairly straightforward super-hero movie just the same. Special was much more of an indie-flavored character drama.

It was pretty good too.
