DVDactive are saying its a 3 disc set. If that is true, can it really be a flipper?

Not sure one of them must be right and I hope it's DVDactive since I don't want a flipper disc for Robin Hood.

Yeah, if it's a 3-disc set, I don't think there's any way that it's a flipper. One BD, one DVD, one DC, or two BDs, one DVD/DC. Keeping my fingers crossed for no flipper.

Digital Fix UK also reports it being a 3 disc set... methinks High Def Disc News needs to better check their sources. HDDN was also the "source" for a new Italian Job '03 disc that never happened.

Cool looks like High Def Disc News is wrong then and we don't get a flipper.

Disappointed by the news that it's a flipper disc, but regardless, I'll still get the blu.

Ditto. I'm not sure if I'll be getting this (didn't care for it when I saw it in theatres), but I'm not keen on flippers. Hopefully the Director's Cut can do for Robin Hood what it did for Kingdom of Heaven. I'll wait for reviews.

The High Def Disc News announcement never mentioned the word "flipper" or anything implying that. It was just the OP making a (hopefully) wrong assumption.

High Def Disc News changed the article. It originally stated it was a "flipper-disc" due to the Universal Press site having the wrong information. Check the section that says 3 responses.

I cannot wait to get this on Blu-ray. I know that the general comment is that most people did not like this one but for me still my favorite of 2010 so far, a 5/5. I cannot wait to see it again.

PS : I hope no flipper disc also

I'm glad we are getting a DC of the film as well as the theatrical. I didn't get a chance to see this one in the theatre. Day 1 for me.

Who want's to bet the Directors cut will be far superior to the Theatrical cut just like they did with Kingdom of Heaven Oh Ridley Scott and his long ass movies studios are too afraid to release in theatres

Its not the same as KoH

Scott has said he likes to think of the home viewing as a different experience than the theater. Thats why he likes to make longer cuts for home video. People at home are in the comfort of their own couch, can puase and get up whenever they want, or can even stop the movie and finish it the next day. Thats the rationale he gave.
