If it's not Resistance 3, then Brett Favre will actually retire. Hint- it's Resistance 3.

Well guys, it may NOT be the next Resistance game, but rather a new Ratchet and Clank gamer

Whether this is a fully fledged sequel to a Crack in Time or DLC similar to Quest for Booty is anyone's guess, but we suspect official details from developer Insomniac will be forthcoming pretty soon.

So are you excited about the prospect of another Ratchet and Clank? Personally, opinion was pretty torn here in the office over the last game. Some of us loved the more open exploration elements, while others preferred Tools of Destruction's more linear structure. Would you like to see the series continue down this more open path or would you prefer if it went back to its more streamlined roots? We were also conflicted on the old hoverboots, which the team found almost equal parts fun and fiddly. Also, were you a fan of Clank's Braid-esque puzzles?

Talk about reading between the lines. Wishful thinking I think.

I am completely ok with more Ratchet and Clank games, I loved Tools of Destruction and A Crack in Time, so I am OK with them releasing another R&C game.

BUT, there are two things I want before I want a new R&C game:

1. Resistance 3
2. Re-release the originals with 16x9/1080p and trophy support

A R&C anthology would be great.

There was some chatter about an interest in it before.

Yesss....

^If you haven't watched Beast Wars, and David Kaye's character, Megatron, you wouldn't know what that meant.

Yeah, it could be for an R&C Anthology directors cut. You never know. The good news is that we will find out soon and either way I look forward to it.

I'm thinking a Resistance 3 announcement along with another Ratchet downloadable game.

You ARE the only one who doesn't want Resistance 3.

The good news for you is that you don't have to buy it, because there are a lot of people who DO want Resistance 3.

I am still boggled why so many people were sooooo underwhelmed by Resistance 2.

I view Resistance 2 the same way I view Halo 2, it was bigger and badder in almost every way and they really went all out and tried to expand the scope. But I don't necessarily think it was better, because sometimes in an effort to expand the scope and make things bigger and badder they will sometimes forget what made the original so likeable. So my view is that Resistance 2 was better in most of the measurable ways, but in the immeasurable ways Resistance: FOM was better.

I know people complain about the lack of a weapon wheel and the lack of the narrator, but what else didn't people like?

Enlighten me.

It might seem like a small thing, but not having the weapon wheel really does change the whole game. It was poopy being pigeon holed into gun usage. There were some fun guns that had very limited use because they only showed up in a few parts.

That really was the biggest let down for me. The story was also a bit dissapoiting. They mention another race, but only briefly and dont really do anything with it.
[Show spoiler]Also, killing(maybe/probably) was a bit of a let down. He is/was the face of Resistance.

Are you talking about the Cloven? They were mentioned in the first game and they were one of the things that many people were hoping R2 would shed some light on and R2 did.
