Hi I'm new here, have read many threads recently but just joined up, still in the process of entering my collection
I noticed at JB I think that Wall E the new packaging has 2 blu rays and a DVD and from what I saw the old Wall E had 1 Blu ray and 1 dvd.
So seems you are getting more with the new Classic version.

But Nah, I got Wall-E plus all the other 'Pixar Classics' before the new design and Monsters Inc, Wall-E are both 2-Disc Blu-Rays (No DVD). Although Cars and Ratatouille have 1 Disc. But I have no idea If those 2 have 2-Disc Blu-Rays now.

Also, anyone getting 'Beauty and the Beast' JB Hi-Fi are now selling it! People I have on twitter are tweeting they got it today.

From what I saw had another look today at JB the new versions were Wall E 2disc blu ray and 1 DVD, I think cars might have been 2 blu ray and a DVD and monsters Inc and ratatouille 1blu ray and 1 DVD but have to confirm.

Re: 'Beauty and the Beast' JB HiFi do have it in stock already saw it tonight, blu ray is 2 blu and 1 DVD was $34.95 and had no slipcover which I was disappointed with, whether big w will be any different on weds?? They are usually cheaper, will they have slipcover too I took a photo of the blu ray at the shops not sure if I can upload here? On a side note the 2 disc DVD version is only $19.98 good price

:O Please upload the photo! I've been waiting for this release all year and I can't see it till Wednesday and I'm really excited for it hahaha

Sucks about the slipcover. I'll be angry If they continue to release the other Diamond Editions next year with one and not give one to Beauty.. Ah well. But yeah I hope somewhere else may sell one with it? Hopefully.

Also with the price! I'm actually happy it's $34! Mainly because alot of websites have it listed for a price in the 40s.

They always list higher than the release price I find, I have bought all of the blu rays so far in Disney platinum and diamond series and they have all been $28 from big w on release week, jb usually a bit higher. hopefully same this time and hopefully a slipcover but I doubt it as they had a lot of copies at jb and none had slipcover I doubt will be diff at big w, I'll upload the photo from pc tomorrow can't do it from my phone just tried.

I'll be waiting until weds to see how much at bigw before purchasing

Oh really?! I wish I smart and looked around for older releases, Just thought JB would always have the cheapest haha. I just don't like their stickers they put on the case after you buy it. Ah well. Before I head to JB Hi-Fi on Weds I'll be making a trip to Big W.

Nice, well it looks like I'll be visiting Big W then, if I can make it tonight before close, if not tomorrow night.
I thought their price would be better, shame about slipcover but what can you do, the previous 2 blu ray platinum editions didn't have slipcovers. Don't know why they started it and stopped again.

Does anyone know if you can still get Sleeping Beauty on Blu Ray, as I know it was going back in the vault earlier this year.

Anyone who got this feel like that they didn't put much effort into the release unlike their past Blu-Rays? (Packaging Wise) I don't know. When I opened it no scene selections inside the case (and every other Disney Blu Ray I own have them) and no slip cover.

She said blu ray should be on shelf tomorrow.
Couldn't go to JB as already shut, I hear Target also has same price as big w.
While at Big w i did notice something i had seen awhile ago but forgotten, they had this (see attachment) and it's $144, what's peoples thoughts on this? I am guessing the pages will be blank as they don't know the releases coming up for sure.

Ahh! Lucky. I didn't even think about Target. Mainly because when I usually go there nothing is cheap. But I'll stop complaining. I mean, It's not like the Blu-Ray isn't worth $34 dollars! it's amazing

Also with the 'My Magical Disney Vault Collection' book, I think it looks pretty cool but the only thing I don't like is how the discs are set out and can give them scratches easily.
