Heck I bought MW2 last December after Christmas for $40 bucks and played it about 5 times before I ended up re selling it.

Had access to and played in the Medal Of Honor closed beta and have that game pre ordered and payed in full for $40 bucks and I'm already wondering why I even decieded to buy that game. Also had Battlefield Bad Company 2 which I also got for $40 bucks and I kept for like 2 months factory sealed and managed to do a no receit trade for a brand new copy of Red Dead Remption at Best Buy when that game first came out last April.

Only Shooter games that really interest me now are games like Uncharted 1 & 2.

I find it helps to stick with only a few series's. There are so many FPS's coming out all the time that I will quickly get tired of all of them if I try to keep up with everything. Resistance has always been my favorite PS3 FPS series so even though I hated MW2 and stopped playing MAG (mostly due to the community dying off) I'm completely stoked for this game.

But they didn't actually say fall right? I agree it probably will, just trying to narrow down what's "official".

Yeah thats why I'm considering signing up for gamefly just so I can play these type of games since I know I won't end up buying them.

Sucks though when I have a few friends on PSN who I know play nothing but MW2 for hours everytime I see them logged onto PSN.

usualy if your thread is the first to be created it could become the official one but it must be updated

there's already several threads about R3 but this one was created along with the official announcement

Ya that's a pain, I got most of my PSN friends from games I'm playing (LBP especially), so it seems like most of them go for the same games/types of games I do. Still have a few who play nothing but MW2 so I never get to play any games with them.

Well, I was getting tired of them hinting the game from time to time, so I'm glad that they finally got around to announcing the title.
