I'd pay $74,999,999 for Shrek the Third and $75,000,001 for Transformers.

Id give paramount a bag of my shit and tell them to keep the change.

Pff. Are you serious? Most all of there movies are crap anyways. None I care to see, have seen and will never watch again.

Shrek was OK. Never fully seen the 2nd and never seen the 3rd. I think I will live just fine without it.

Lol, you all seen how Disturbia went. It's cousin is called Transformers. Just with some more bling to it.

Fortunately for me, I'll just pick it up on HD DVD

Transformers, Harry Potter, Spiderman 3 and Fantastic Four ROTSS are all movies I didn't see in the theater and am looking forward to watching at home.
Harry Potter is coming to Blu-ray per blu-ray.com

i would've liked paramount to release top gun, star trek (most of them) & a few others before they took the money & ran but i'm prepared to wait 18 months. If they dont come back then good riddance to them as my hard earned will be going to Fox, Sony, Buena Vista films from now on.

Somewhere between zero and nothing. I'm glad Paramount chose a side but displeased with the reasoning. I wish the marketplace had real backlash for this. Maybe companies will be reluctant to partner with them or count on their "plans" in the future.

I would only, ever, pay equal or less then the HD-DVD price for any Paramount release. They don't deserve anything better right now.

I'll wait.

I wouldnt pay anything additional for it, the message needs to be very clear to Paramount that they made a huge mistake.

Same with me. Besides; your, mine and everyone else with a blu-ray players' money isn't worth squat to Paramount. Our money is not good to them. Toshiba & Microsofts' money is "aparently" greener or something. Who cares about fan loyalty anyway?

you meant 16.99 on dvd since when it is released at first it would be cheaper at first.

Market price, the same as any other studio.

But now they won't even get that, will they, since they'd rather not have our money?

So they'll really hit your wallet because you'll probably buy it again in Blu-Ray format in a year and half. Maybe this decision was wise for them after all.
