Can't wait for the movie next year.
I liked it all bar the
[Show spoiler]puking gag
which I though was a bit cheap, this series is by far not as good as the rest, but still pretty funny, I still have high hopes for the Film

Yeah I didn't really like that part looked really fake and not a fan of watching people
[Show spoiler]puke on TV

It doesn't bother me, it's just not funny, we've seen
[Show spoiler]puke
so many times before.

Yeah I didn't really find it funny at all and I was just reading something about the movie and what we would see in it and
[Show spoiler]puking
was one of the things we would most likely see. Can't wait for the movie since the episodes are so short now we get a longer story. Also picks up after the series finale so we can see how
[Show spoiler]Simon dealt with moving
.

Yeah I totally forgot about that I know it must have been good but would be cool to know exactly what it said. Can't believe all the stuff we learned about Jay in this episode though
[Show spoiler]his old friend and the shed game and how he used to go to a shrink.
I almost couldn't believe Neil's plot of the episode but the ending to it was really good and happy that he
[Show spoiler]didn't get her pregnant

Looks like the post movie special has been confirmed but now it's been revealed we get 2 specials to air in 2011.

The film version is a go! It will start shooting in mid-February for a 19 August cinema release, which would hopefully mean a UK BD in December 2011/January 2012, if all goes to plan.

I really hope BBCA releases the series on DVD so we have some hope of also getting the film. Can't wait to see it though.

I was gutted when the show finished. I loved it - shame it's finishing so early, although I guess it would be difficult to do much more.

While waiting for the specials and the film, they have also just done something for comic relief:

For American fans that haven't seen series 3 yet it will be starting on BBCA June 18th. Really hope that means we will be getting a box set soon as this has been one show I've been wanting to own for a long time and hopefully with good sales BBCA will bring the movie over faster.

I'm excited because the movie should be out on BD before the end of the year.

Yeah let's just hope BBCA get's their head in the game and releases the series and movie in America soon or I'll maybe importing this one but either happy it's getting an early UK release so it will be out this year on BD like you said.

The movie has been cut by the distributor to get a '15' classification in the UK.

Quote:
During post-production, the distributor sought and was given advice on how to secure the desired classification. Following this advice, certain changes were made prior to submission. Detailed information on these changes is below but may contain plot details or spoilers.
Quote:
THE INBETWEENERS MOVIE was originally seen by the BBFC in an unfinished version. The company was informed that the film was likely to receive an '18' classification but the preferred '15' classification could be achieved by making cuts in four scenes. These were to remove
[Show spoiler]an aggressive use of very strong language, to remove a particularly crude verbal sex reference (to urolagnia), and to reduce the explicitness of two scenes of sexual activity (one of self-fellatio and one of masturbation)
. When the completed version of the film was submitted,
[Show spoiler]the aggressive use of very strong language had been redubbed, the crude verbal sex reference had been removed, and the strong scenes of sexual activity
had been reduced, by a mixture of cutting and reframing. The film was therefore classified '15' without further cuts.
I knew they would do this, damn it. They better make an uncut version available on video.

I guess this is the only thread on here to post this without starting a new one which will inevitably annoy someone. Just got back from the movie. And it was absolutely hilarious.

I'm going to admit, I was expecting to be disappointed, but what they delivered was, in my opinion, a lot better than some of the stuff in the series, and this is probably the funniest film I've seen in years. Anyone else checked this out?
