I've never watched Nurse Jackie but from what I've heard it's a drama (Falco said it's not a comedy when she won) and I wish they'd actually give comedy awards to shows that are funny. I've got no problem with Mad Men winning again. It's season was fantastic.

The third hour of the Emmy's has to be the worst hour in all award shows. Nobody cares about made for TV movies, and in general it's just a one-hour tribute to HBO. The Pacific was great and deserved it's awards but there was no competition so there was no question it would win. I've never met that's seen Temple Grandin, and have no desire to see it myself, but it looks like one of those HBO movies that is made purely to win Emmy's. They should cut some of those awards out of the televised ceremony and show the best guest actor awards instead.
I agree with the bolded! It was ridiculous that they had an award for writing at an awards show.

Didn't they used to have an award for best reality show host?

They still have it. Jeff Probst won for Survivor, but it wasn't televised as it has been in prior years. CBS dropped some of the televised categories after going long last year.

I did not watch this sham of an awards show, but I heard they even left David Mills out in the "In Memory of" ceremony?!?!? Seriously, what person who died this year was responsible for more than Mills? That is a damned disgrace!

I figured that was the case because the reality section of the show seemed really short.

It's a travesty that Michael Giacchnio did not get an award for Best Music/Score for LOST.

I wanted either Michael C. Hall or Matthey Fox to win for Best Actor, even though Cranston is great as well.

I'm upset that Joey Lawence didn't get nominated for Joey and Melissa.

I don't think it's nearly as bad as the Academy electing to mention Michael Jackson over Farah Fawcett at the Academy Awards "In Memorium".

Bottom line, those "In Memorium" segments are hack jobs done by people who obviously have no knowledge of the most important people.

Omitting Mills was horrible. He won 2 Emmy's and was nominated for 4 more, so it isn't like he was some nobody the Emmy producers had never heard of. I can safely say his television background was more prominent than Corey Haim's.

As far as I know, and as big of a Haim fan as I was growing up, he never did anything on tv besides the reality show with Feldman. The In Memoriums done at awards show always leave out the most important people and throw in randon celebrities who weren't even part of that genre.
