That is pretty cheap, but I think I want to hold off till next year. When Scream is released I would expect some sort of SE of the first movie at least.

Well that and my to buy list is already way too big for the next 3 months.

Don't forget to allot some time Halloween night for the premiere of "The Walking Dead" on AMC!

This year will be the first year I actually get to have a marathon on Halloween and I am going to spend it watching Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street Movies, most likely on DVD since most are not on Blu Ray yet and I doubt if they do come out before then I'd have the money anyways. Oh and the Charlie Brown special if I do get it for my birthday like I am hoping.

Wow there are some awesome list on here! I hope to watch a ton of scary/horror movies in the month of October, but on Halloween day I intend to watch movies directly related to Halloween.

1. Halloween (original)
2. Trick r Treat
3. Nightmare Before Christmas
4. Monster House
5. It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown

Also like miller_time22 I'm looking forward to the premier of the Walking Dead on AMC.

I can't take part this year in a horror marathon. There's a little thing on Sundays called the NFL =). But, *IF* I were to do it, I'd do these:

(1984) Nightmare on Elm Street
Child's Play
Friday The 13th VI: Jason Lives
Halloween (Rob Zombie Workprint - Way better than the theatrical)
Pet Sematary
Leprechaun
Chopping Mall

Glad to see just about everyone mentioning this. It really is one of the best Halloween movies ever made, too bad it never made it to theatres.

Lots of great ideas most of them I have included in years previous marathons. Will definitely be picking up the Evil Dead and Monster House. Please continue to give suggestions.
Thanks

I love a good horror movie but anyone have a good list of Halloween specific movies? I'm looking for movies that specifically have a Halloween setting.

My favorites are:
Halloween
Halloween 2
Halloween 3: Season of the Witch
Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers
It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown
Trick 'r Treat

Still haven't seen it, the re-make of Black Christmas has permanently put me off that franchise.

Blood The Last Vampire (anime-Japan version)
Halloween (original)

I'd recommend atleast one of the documentary style horror movies like Blair Witch, Paranormal Activity, or even Quarantine.

Then for fun, you gotta go with Zombieland!

Thanks!

Another one is Cloverfield though it's not really a "horror" documentary.

Still though, I think Zombieland is a must due to the fun factor.
