+1 for Pontypool. Great movie. You can order it from Amazon.UK and is Region Free so it will play in your North American SA BD player, or PS3.

They're not for everyone, but you might want to check out some of the titles available from Blue Underground. They have a lot of nice selections available:

Maniac
The Bird with the Crystal Plumage
The Toolbox Murders
The Living Dead at Manchester Morgue
The New York Ripper
Vampyres
etc.

are you referring to the events shown once the end credits started or the "ending" before that??

This movie would rate highest to me over everything listed here if the director hadn't added his BS coda at the very end...

Horror is one of my fav genre's, yet my collection of titles is fairly small, so please help me change this.

I like most stuff..slasher, gore, zombies, atmosphere, suspense, scary etc. So with that in mind, what titles do you recommend?
The Fouth Kind was a great movie

You may wanna check out the original, though I don't know if it's on blu-ray or not... A Tale of Two Sisters. I liked it more then the remake.

I would recommend Shaun of the Dead. Its more of spoof than a horror flick, its a very awesome movie. Of course like everyone mention, I would also recommend The Evil Dead movies, Drag Me to Hell, The Exorcist, Friday the 13th original, Dawn of the Dead, Grindhouse: Planet Terror, Night of the Living Dead, and Day of the Dead. God, I love horror.

Some of you obviously didn't look at his collection, offering up recommendations that he already owns.

Might be hard to find, but I enjoyed REC much more than other horror films I've seen in the last couple of years.

I 2nd Ginger Snaps as a recommendation too.

Another guilty pleasure of mine is Feast (been really into gore lately. if you are too, you owe it to yourself to see Deadalive{Braindead} as well)

Someone mentioned The Strangers as well, which I enjoyed more than I thought I would.

I'm hoping for more Hammer releases. On the Vampire Circus case it says 'Hammer Horror Collection'... Keeping my fingers crossed.
