Truth is, any attractive passer-by pulled off the street can do what she does, i.e. smile, laugh and basically, ham it up for the camera.

Kevin Pereira may be obnoxious and conceited, but at least he knows his stuff. With him, I think there's a genuine interest in all things tech-related that Munn never had, or ever will. In my book, he has geek cred, but Munn doesn't (not that she cares).

All I want is someone who is semi-competent at her job, someone who does more than laugh on cue. I miss the professionalism that Sarah Lane brought to her job.

Watched today... it was like a sea of hot women! Forget the name of the woman who hosted, but then the news lady was very very pretty (with charm!). To boot they had the girl from Modern Family on as well.

I haven't watched it since Sarah Lane left the show. Mainly because I do not have G4 in my cable plan, but the show was going downhill fast after she left anyway in my opinion.

Sarah's loss was one thing, but the producer decided to revamp the format and presentation of the show to resemble something that one would see on SpikeTV (most likely an attempt to expand their demographics by pandering to a lower common denominator). Once that happened, their credibility as an informative tech news program was shot in my eyes.

That was a part of the reason I stopped watching, the format change killed it for me. I like Pereira but the rest of the cast also turned me off because I felt like they were there to look good and not actually contribute. Of course I am one of the old fogeys who watched the show on Tech TV when it was The Screen Savers. And man do I miss Call for Help! too, I miss Tech TV, G4 merger ruined everything.

I remember the Screen Savers' days and I had a number of episodes recorded on my DVR (before the hard drive gave out and I had to trade it in ).

The merger with G4 was perhaps necessary and inevitable if Tech TV wanted to survive, but this is just another example where ratings and revenue are valued and coveted above all else.
