Big fan of soundtracks, both popular and totally unknown, I like to discover all of them. So thanks for this topic.

In all those years, there's one that stands out an beats all the competition in my book : The Leftovers. My oh my, it's extremely rich, emotional, apocalyptic and minimalistic at the same time and -I swear- every single episode, it gets to me. Such a wonderful thing.

If the first track (opening theme) is not your taste, please do check the rest. It's different and totally worth it.

I also really liked the music on Pretty Little Liars and How To Get Away With Murder.

Anything by Bear McCreary or Ramin Djwardi, but esp Black Sails and Game of Thrones, Oh Westworld too.

Also Penny Dreadful is a fantastic soundtrack.

If we're talkinga bout scores Game of Thrones and The Leftovers take it for me. Soundtrack would go to the Sopranos and Freaks and Geeks.

I have Clannad's "Robin of Sherwood" and easily classify that is AMAZING.

I have Dennis McCarthy's work on Star Trek The Next Generation. (Encounter at Farpoint) this is also very good work.

can't beat the theme of Airwolf

Yesssss to The Leftovers nod. Max Richter's score is integral to the entire atmosphere and it wouldn't be the same without it. I only wish the Miracle song was included on the second soundtrack.

I also really enjoy Marcelo Zarvos' for "The Affair."

Yes, indeed. I believe there's no other score out there that's so important or in fact defining when it comes to the strenght and impact of the scenes in the show.

PS : I have yet to see "Arrival", but I can't wait to hear his score for that one.
